I've just paid my bank account what should I do now?
Step 1 - Access your dashboard
To start your bank account request, you have to first go to your dashboard.
Just after the payment, you must have received an email from AnchorLess (please check your spam), if this is the case, just click on the email and click on "Log in".
If you haven't received it, no worries, simply follow these steps:
Go to login page by clicking here or on the Access button on the AnchorLess home page.
Then simply enter the e-mail address you used to place your order and click on "Get my access".
If you don't receive the email containing the connection link, check your spam folder.
It may also happen that the e-mail is blocked by your mailbox. In this case, no worries, please contact our online support team, who will provide you with your connection link.
Open the email and click on "Log in".
You now have access to your dashboard! You can see all the applications you've ordered and the ones already in progress.
Step 2 - Create and attach a member
To start one of them, click on "Next step".
You can then select "create new applicant", enter the full name of the person you wish to apply to, then click on "Continue".
If you have already applied for a NIF with us, you can directly select the members you have created before.
If you have ordered a joint bank account, you will need to select the two members for whom you wish to open the account.
Step 3 - Fill in the additional information
To open your bank account, the bank requires a number of additional details to be filled in on the form.
⚠️ Be careful not to make any typing errors, especially in your telephone number and e-mail address, to avoid any reception problems later on.
Enter your e-mail address and telephone numbers.
If you have telephone numbers in several countries, please indicate the number of the country to which you intend to send your proof of address.
Indicate your marital status.
Fill in your jobs and the range of your assets.
Inform your account purposes.
Step 4 - Upload your proof of identity
💡 If you have already uploaded your proof of ID previously, it will already be saved and you can simply click on continue.
Otherwise, all you have to do is take your passport, click on "Upload document" and proceed to upload your document, following the instructions on the screen.
Applicants from EU countries can also use an identity card as proof of identity.
If you don't have your passport with you, please note that you can also upload the scan directly by clicking on the "Upload" button.
If you encounter an error when uploading your proof of identity, or if the software does not accept it even though you have done everything correctly, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected] and send the document directly.
Step 5 - Upload your proof of adress
Read the instructions carefully and take your proof-of-address document or file, click on "Upload document", select the type of document you wish to use.
Then fill in all your address fields exactly as they appear on the document you'll be using, then click on "Continue".
If your country doesn't use a postcode, you can skip this step by entering 0000 in this field.
If you encounter an error when uploading your proof of adress, or if the software does not accept it even though you have done everything correctly, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected] and send the document directly.
Step 6 - Upload your Portuguese NIF
💡 If you obtained your NIF through AnchorLess, it will already be there, so all you have to do is click on "Continue".
Click on "Upload" and select your Portuguese NIF document.
⚠️ The document must contain both pages of the NIF and be in PDF format.
Once the document has been analyzed by the software, simply click on "Continue".
It may happen that your NIF document is not recognized by the software.
If this is the case, no worries, you can contact the technical team by sending your document directly by e-mail to [email protected].
Step 7 - Upload your foreign TIN and proof of income documents
The last step is to send your supporting documents.
The conditions for acceptable documents are:
•Each documents need to be in PDF format and less than 4MB.
•Each documents need to be written in Portuguese, English, Italian, French, or Spanish.
Hence, if your documents, such as proof of address or proof of employment, are not in any of these languages, you must provide a certified translation of the documents in either English or Portuguese. Read this to know how to translate documents
Please read the following articles to find out what documents you need to provide for your foreign TIN and proof of income.
Once you have your documents, click on "Upload", then on "Upload more documents" to add new ones. When you're done, click on "Submit".
Congratulations! Once you've completed this step, the team will analyze your documents as soon as possible and either validate them or get back to you.
