What can I use as a Proof of Income?
It depends on your employment/income status.
Documents must always present the following characteristics:
Your FULL NAME (given names + middle names [if applicable] + last names), matching documents provided (e.g. Passport);
All four corners of the document must be visible;
Text must be clear, visible and legible;
No shadows and/or light reflections;
Sensitive data, such as salary, account balances, must NOT be blacked out;
Be presented in the Roman alphabet, in the following languages: English or Portuguese (for more information see below).
General note:
The idea is to prove to the bank that you have stable income or assets, do not hesitate to send as many documents as possible, this will prevent the bank from coming back to you to ask for other documents.
