To authorize our partner lawyer to apply for your NIF or NISS, you will need to sign a power of attorney which will allow him to apply on your behalf.
To make things easier for you, we've set up a form that allows you to sign your power of attorney directly, without having to print it out.
If you are applying for a child, you will need to reproduce the signature from the proof of identity of the child's legal representative that you provided previously.
I sign my power of attorney using the online form:
To do so, go to the bottom of the page and simply reproduce the signature on your proof of identity using your mouse, pad or tactile screen.
You can retry as many times as you like by clicking on "Clear signature".
When you are satisfied with the result you can click on "Finish application". This will finalize the application and our team will check your documents as soon as possible.
In order for our lawyer to process your request, the signature must be as close as possible to that on your passport/ID card. It doesn't have to be perfect, just similar.
I can't sign my power of attorney correctly on the online form:
If you are having trouble signing the power of attorney using the online form, you can download the power of attorney by clicking on the download button framed in red in the image below.
Depending on your preference, you can then:
• Drag and drop your electronic signature under the text at the bottom of the document
• Print, hand-sign and scan the document
You can then e-mail the signed document to us at [email protected] and a member of our team will manually upload it to your application.
