The timeframe for receiving your password to access Portal das Finanças is dependent on the registration process and procedures followed by the Portuguese tax authorities. After completing the necessary steps for registration, such as obtaining your NIF (Tax Identification Number), AnchorLess automatically request your password.
When will I receive the password?
The exact timeframe for receiving the password can vary. Typically, it takes a few weeks (3/4) for the tax authorities to process your registration, verify the provided information, and generate the password.
How will I receive the password?
If AnchorLess is my tax representative
As soon as it arrives, we will forward a copy to you via email.
You'll then be able to access the government finance portal (Portal das Finanças), and cancel your fiscal representative, manage your tax residence and obligations.
If AnchorLess isn't your tax representative
If you don't have a fiscal representative. You will receive it at the address you provided to request your NIF. It can takes up to 3/4 weeks.
