How do I complete my NIE application? - Essential

I've just paid my NIE, what should I do now?

Step 1 - Access your dashboard

To start your NIE request, you have to first go to your dashboard.

Just after the payment, you must have received an email from AnchorLess (please check your spam), if this is the case, just click on the email and click on "Log in".

If you haven't received it, no worries, simply follow these steps:

Go to login page by clicking here or on the Access button on the AnchorLess home page.

Then simply enter the e-mail address you used to place your order and click on "Get my access".

If you don't receive the email containing the connection link, check your spam folder.

It may also happen that the e-mail is blocked by your mailbox. In this case, no worries, please contact our online support team, who will provide you with your connection link.

Open the email and click on "Log in".

You now have access to your dashboard! You can see all the applications you've ordered and the ones already in progress.

Step 2 - Create and attach a member

To start one of them, click on "Next step".

You can then select "create new applicant", enter the full name of the person you wish to apply to, then click on "Continue".

Step 3 - Fill some information about your situation

We kindly ask you to first provide your complete address.

Next, please specify the reason for your NIE application and your current professional status.

Following that, share details about your personal circumstances

Additionally, include the names of your parents.

Lastly, provide your contact information.

Step 4 - Upload your proof of identity

All you have to do is take your passport, click on "Upload document" and proceed to upload your document, following the instructions on the screen.

Applicants from EU countries can also use an identity card as proof of identity.

If you don't have your passport with you, please note that you can also upload the scan directly by clicking on the "Upload" button.

If you encounter an error when uploading your proof of identity, or if the software does not accept it even though you have done everything correctly, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected] and send the document directly.

Step 5 - Download your power of attorney
